Our Story

2021

KPP is born
Kids Purpose Project, Inc. was developed in 2021 by a team of mothers seeking to make a difference in the lives of suffering children. In 2019, Krista was blessed with a son, Simon, who was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. In 2020, her second son, Abel, was also diagnosed with the disease. Both diagnoses were devastating for the family, and brought heartbreak and fear with the uncertainty of the boys’ future. Later, their diagnoses were determined extremely rare, Delta F508 + 2184insA, and they would likely have no symptoms of the disease. They’re 2 of 220 people in the United States with this diagnosis, and 80% with this diagnosis still need treatments. Simon and Abel do not. This phenomenal blessing became the catalyst for action, as we seek to forward God’s blessings in honor of Simon, Abel, and all the CF children fighting cystic fibrosis. As mothers of a total of 18 children and counting, our heart for helping children is at the forefront of our mission. Thus, Kids Purpose Project, Inc. was born and seeks to fulfill the basic human needs of suffering children in our county, until the number of suffering, abused, and neglected children is zero.
